Presently all waste collected by the AMC is disposed of at the dumping ground located at Makhupura, Nasirabad Road, 10 km from the city. It is spread over an area of about 27.23 acres. The Makhupura dumping ground has been used by the AMC since 1997. The Project involves the old Legacy waste of more than 3.60 MT & daily processing of about 200-300 TPD municipal solid waste at the Solid Waste Management Facility located at Makhupura Dumping Ground for processing of fresh waste and old waste lying at the dumping site, in compliance with MSW Rules. The Earthera with help of NACOF LTD has successfully processed Old Legacy waste with BIO Mining do the Land Reclamation.
